[She's still not so good at this speaking out thing.]

Who here knows anything about the creature in the lake? I'm down there a lot, but I haven't seen anything. Hate to admit, but I'm kinda curious. If anyone knows anything, uh, lemme know?

[There's a pause. Abeni continues.]

Hey Zack. You ready for a real fight yet?

[Hell, she sounds almost amused at that.]

[She'd been spending a lot of time getting the carpentry house back in order. The place was a mess and if she was going to be working from it, Abeni needed at least a little organization. It wasn't too hard work, and she'd enjoyed being busy, but Abeni had hit the point where she just needed a break from it all.

Her time in the Keep had reminded her of her love for water and so once again Abeni found herself standing at the edge of the lake. A little later, she'd been peeling off clothes down to the bottom layer and washing them before leaving them to dry on the bank. Left with little more to do and keeping to the shallows, Abeni dived on in for a swim.]
