[Out on the lake is a lone rowboat, the oars pulled in that they don't get lost and the boat left to drift as it pleases. Inside it is Abeni, her feet the only visible part of her to any that can't see directly into the boat. She's stretched out, hands behind her head and feet up on the sides, staring at the clouds as they roll by.
At some point she pulls out her journal, flicks through the pages a bit before voicing a thought for all to hear.]
Anyone else think this place is a second chance? Another go at life?
[She's adjusted well enough to being alive again. Abeni just doesn't understand why. For the moment, she'll just relax how she can and try to work her way through the mass of thoughts in her head.]

[Then again he had no real reason too.]
[Audio]
[Destroyed worlds or not, why save her when they could have taken someone else?]
[Audio]
[He's got Abeni back and that's good enough for him.]
[Audio]
[Forever bitter about dying and leaving him alone. Her greatest failure.]
[Audio]
You never screwed up.
[He's the one that fell out of the damn window.]
[Audio]
We were split up. I didn't even try to regroup--
I'm not gonna fight with you on this.
[Audio]
[Sigh]
Alright nevermind.

[Her amusement is a little dry, but Abeni finds something funny none the less.]
[Audio]
Why you laughing?
[Audio]
Usually you're the one wanting to talk and I'm the one saying 'later'.
[She pauses.]
Or shut up.
[Audio]
[Audio]
Right, yes.
[Abeni stops talking for a bit, sits up and looks around. The lake is kinda nice, really.]
You ever been fishing, Zack?
[Audio]
Not really, never had the chance to.

[Audio] so i herd u liek wall of text <<
[She's trying to find a calm point. It's been forever since she's had anything like it, or the chance to relax, and even after all this time in the Keep, Abeni is still having trouble shutting down. The lake seems to be helping, and fishing was something that had been fun enough the few times she'd gone.
The reason why she keeps bringing up dying and wondering if this is a second chance or a mistake is that she doesn't want to waste it. Funny how ones perception can change when you die.]
[Audio] wall of text? that's just my favorite thing ever
[Death seems to be on her mind a lot lately, which isn't a big surprise all things considered. He just doesn't want her to view it all as a mistake. The last thing he wants is to lose her again, and if she's alive here then maybe he can bring her back to Halis alive and well too. If they try to take that chance away from her well, then everyone will see just how hard Zachariah can fight when he really wants to.]
[Audio] --> [Not!Audio] YAY
[Lucky for her, she's not too far away from the boathouse. Abeni rows her way back in and is fiddling with the fishing rods when Riah gets there. She's distracted. He of all people should see that, but she's also trying to pep things up a bit.]
[Not!Audio] WE GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME!
Need some help?

Yeah. Fell down dead and woke up here. There's no way I survived that attack. Not in my world anyway.
Audio
I don't remember anything like that happening to me, but, yeah, that certainly makes it seem like a second chance for yourself, at least.
*But what happens to her if their worlds are restored? Hm.*
Audio
What was happening when you came here? Anything worth mention?

Got a name?
Audio
Oh, sorry, I'm Jacob. Nice to, well, not really meet you but talk to you.

Not. Good.
Jack got as close to the shore as he dared before yelling out- ]
Ahoy! Ahoy in the boat! Ahoy there!
